How to get here

By Train: Newcastle Central Station, Carlisle, Hexham
By Air: Newcastle Airport
By Car: From Newcastle (40 miles)

Head towards Jedburgh on A696. When you get to Otterburn, turn left to take the B6320 to Bellingham. When you reach the crossroads meeting the A68 go straight over and drive for another 2 miles or so, until you reach a sign for Greenhaugh and The Combe. Turn right here and make you way over the fell until you drop down to the valley. Turn right here into Greenhaugh. Go through Greenhaugh and then take the left hand fork in the road. Proceed along the single track road over the Tarset Burn and then up a slight hill. At the top, turn left signed to Thorneyburn. Proceed past the church to access a small car parking area.

From the South

From the A1 take the A69 to Hexham. Proceed until you reach a sign to Corbridge and A68. Turn left and take the third exit at the roundabout. Proceed along the A68 for about 18 miles, going through West Woodburn. After West Woodburn, take the crossroads left to Bellingham along B6320.

Drive for another 2 miles or so until reach a sign for Greenhaugh and The Combe. Turn right here and make your way over the fell until you drop down to the valley. Turn right here into Greenhaugh. Go through Greenhaugh and then take the left hand fork in the road. Proceed along the single track road over the Tarset Burn and then up a slight hill. At the top, turn left signed to Thorneyburn. From the North

Follow the A68 until you reach signs for B6320. Drive for another 2 miles or so until you reach a sign for Greenhaugh and The Combe. From the West

From the M6. Take the A69 to Hexham from Carlisle. When nearing Hexham take A6320 towards Bellingham. At Bellingham cross the bridge and turn left to Kielder. At Lanehead T-junction turn left and drive a mile to Greenhaugh.
